Voices of London.

Fremont, CA—The talented Voices of London, comprised of four lively and distinct personalities, has been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike for their sparkling performances on the classical repertoire and for their entertaining commentary. Performing classical music spanning five centuries, their vibrant, resonant voicings will appeal to music lovers from all backgrounds.

Voices of London debuted in 1970 as The Scholars of London. Originally an all-male ensemble, the Scholars were awarded scholarships to sing at the Cambridge University King’s College Chapel. In 1972 they added a new dimension to their sound by including a female voice and have since been known as the Voices of London. With more than 2,500 concerts in over 50 countries, Voices of London has performed in the world’s best-known concert halls such as the Lincoln Center in New York, London’s Royal Festival Hall, and the Sydney Opera House.

Dubbed the “Masters of the Vocal Quartet”, The San Francisco Chronicle praises their performance as, "a rare concert … utterly exquisite performances … This quartet could not imaginably be more finely matched in timbre, musicianship and intelligence.”
