For Immediate Release:
Ohlone For Kids (and Teens)
Fremont, CA—Ohlone for Kids offers a great way for your kids to spend the summer in an active, fun filled and enriching environment. Classes range from academic, structured topics such as Mathematics and PSA/SAT Prep to more leisurely classes such as Comedy for Kids, model trains, swimming, and much more.
In a class like Movie Making your child will be exposed to the process of creating and editing movies using Moviemaker. Students will capture special moments to share with family and friends and learn new skills that will impress teachers for upcoming school presentations. Ooey-Gooey Chemistry Lab, one of the most popular classes attended each year, offers kids the amazing opportunity to explore polymer science through the creation of slimes, putties, and dough’s that bounce, stretch, glow, and wiggle! Young chemists will investigate how polymers are made and how they’re used in our everyday lives. The kids really enjoy the messy hands-on activities.
This year, the program has multiple sessions which will be offered at two locations, Ohlone College in Fremont and Newark Memorial High School in Newark. Classes are offered June 29 through August 6 in four different sessions. A free class schedule is available online. Get information on registration fees and class times at www.ohloneforkids.com. Online registration begins April 2. Classes fill up fast, so don’t wait to register!
