EOPS 40th Anniversary and Ceremony
Fremont, CA — The 40th Annual EOPS Awards Ceremony celebrates the great achievements of EOPS students as they complete their academic goals at Ohlone College.
Extended Opportunity Programs and Services, known as EOPS, is a retention based program that is designed to assist students by providing special support services offered by the college. It is a program that identifies, recruits, places, and retains students who are affected by social, economic or language barriers.
EOPS philosophy is that to ensure that all students are given an equal opportunity for academic success, it is the EOPS responsibility to provide comprehensive support services; such as enhancing self-esteem, fostering pride and dignity, motivating those whom the program serves, enabling students to effectively define and pursue career goals, and to maintain an open-door policy.
This is a great time to honor the students’ hard work and dedication and wish them success for the future.
Refreshments will be provided.
