Ohlone Chamber Singers Remember 9/11 Ten Years Later

Fremont, CA—Ten years after the devastating tragedy on September 11, 2001, Ohlone Chamber Singers, along with the Valley Concert Chorale and the San Francisco Concert Chorale, present a concert in memory of the lives that were lost. The three combined choirs feature selections including Herbert’s Howell’s “Requiem,” Arthur Honegger’s “King David” and Stephen Paulus’ “The Road Home” and “Hymn for America.” This year also marks the eleventh anniversary of the Chamber Singers Masterworks Series.

The critically acclaimed Ohlone Chamber Singers has performed regionally and internationally for over 20 years, under the baton of Dennis Keller. The Chamber Singers perform an eclectic array of music primarily focused on the late Romantic and Contemporary periods, as well as folk arrangements from around the world. The choir has performed worldwide and released five studio-recorded compact discs.
