Enjoy Ireland while Studying Business and Culture this Summer
Fremont, CA—Discover the unique island nation of Ireland while earning college credit during a weeklong study abroad program with Ohlone College. Students will travel to the cities of Dublin and Cork from August 3-10, 2012. Study abroad programs are unique opportunities to gain hands-on learning experience in a different country while making friends from around the world. Participants receive two units of CSU-transferrable credit for BA-140, Global Business Immersion. The trip includes business visits to five major companies, the Parliament of Ireland, and several visits to historical sites such as the Blarney Castle and the Kissing Stone in Cork, Kilmainham Goal Prison, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, to learn more of the culture of Ireland.
This affordable program is not limited to current Ohlone Students. Anyone interested in learning about business and culture in Ireland can register for the class and participate in the program. Students may choose to extend their stay in Europe beyond the week-long program, and even plan a commuter flight to London where the 2012 Olympics will be held in August.
Applications are available online at www.ohlone.edu/studyabroad/ireland and due by Thursday, April 12, 2012.
