Over 40 Employers at Free Community Job Fair at Ohlone College and the Tri-Cities One-Stop Career Center - Press Release, Office of College Advancement
Fremont, CA—Over 40 employers, representing Manufacturing, Biotech, Retail, Healthcare industries and more, will be seeking new employees at the Annual Spring Career Expo held on Friday, April 29, 2016 put on by the Tri-Cities One-Stop Career Center at the Ohlone College Newark Center. Career Expo participants can meet with representatives from Alameda County, City of Fremont, CitraGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Sierra Circuits Boards, Inc., Steri-Tek., California High-Speed Rail Authority, FBI–San Francisco, West Valley Staffing Group, Robert Half and more.
This free event is an excellent opportunity for the public and for students to meet directly with employers to discuss careers, part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities, although there is a focus on full-time positions.
“The Career Expo provides an opportunity, not only for individuals to explore open positions, but also to learn more about how the Tri-Cities One-Stop Career Center can help them in their job search or career exploration,” said Binh Nguyen, Director of the One-Stop Career Center.
“This is a great opportunity for job seekers to fast track their job search, scope out employers, network with others, and receive first-hand career information,” says Shadia Schoen, Tri-Cities One-Stop Career Center’s Job Developer.
The event is open to the general public and Ohlone College students. Bring plenty of resumes and dress for success. For information on workshops to update your resume, prepare for the expo, or more details on the employers participating visit www.tricitiesonestop.com.
