£            Department Name Change

The CAOT (Computer Applications and Office Technology) Department requests a name change to CAS – Computer Applications S

Ron Travenick present for Michael Bowman. Wanted to make CAPAC aware of the time and manpower it would take to convert courses with name change.

Leslie Buehler rationale is that this can be used across the curriculum.

Ron Quinta thinks that CAOT is limited.

No motion made to support Department request for name change. Lesley was requested to submit a rationale and send it out to her department for further discussion.

This item is tabled for future meeting.
