Program Review Updates: (I)
Ø Business Supervision Management - (Lesley Buehler)
Lesley Buehler gave an overview of the process she went through to gather the information for the BSM Program review. She used the Student Learning Outcomes from some of the course outlines and used peer and student input. There has been an increase in the number of guest speakers. Four courses have online option. A survey was done online of students and industry. There is an interest in online education and weekend class offerings.

Main focus will be on hardware; excellent articulation alignment with local Transfer Universities. Deb Parziale made the motion to approve the new Computer Engineering Transfer Degree/second/Jon Degallier. Motion carried.
Ø Computer Networking & Emerging Technology Memo
The new name meets industry standards. There is a more detailed description, more courses available, course title update, third line dele “one concepts in” add (e) to the rationale “CS will focus on articulation; CNET will be more occupational. Deb Parziale made the motion to approve the new name to CNET/second/Phil Zahorsky. Motion carried.
Fast Track Certificate Revision – Name Change from Biotechnology to “Biotechnology: Research Associate/Biotechnician” Dialogue occurred on rationale for change.In the first paragraph delete concepts in from third line. Last paragraph should read “All courses must be taken at Ohlone College except BIOT-105 and/or CHEM-109. If equivalent course(s) have been completed at other colleges; students will be required to meet the 17 unit requirement by completing the appropriate number of BIOT courses listed as “optional” above. Jon Degallier made the motion to approve the revisions to the Fast Track Certificate for Biotechnology Research Association/Biotechnician/second/ Peggy Kauffman. Motion carried.
