Janice Jones made the motion to approve the February 5, 2007 minutes with the correction to change the heading from agenda to minutes, seconded by Rachel Sherman. Motion carried.
Chair’s Report:
· Summary of Patricia James Hanz on Distance Learning 2/26/07
William Paoli is editing the video taken during Patricia James Hanz’s visit on February 26th and will be uploading it to the web. We should implement soon, the administrators should notify the online instructor that they will be entering their course to review the class. We will look at this further in the fall. The video will be ready soon. If you have any questions or need information please contact Lesley Buehler.
· With formatting issues in CurricUNET, screeners should give directions on how to format with their comments, if screeners are unsure, please direct the course author to Chris Warden or Heidi Barkow to help direct course authors on formatting issues.

George Rodgers said they did a survey of the Geography students and the students were most interested in California Geography. This course is transferable to CSU. This course has been taught as a Selected Topic and it filled up. This is a cultural and physical geography course. Will apply for GE Plan A. Lesley Buehler made the motion to approve GEOG-105, seconded by Sheryl Einfalt. Motion carried.
