Pathway to Biotechnology Program

Join our Biotech entry level clerical and service career training program. This Special Training Program is offered as a partnership with Ohlone College, Tri-Cities One-Stop Career Center, and New Haven Adult School. It is sponsored by the California Community Colleges Economic Workforce Development Program.

Goal of this training is to offer clerical and service career training leading jobs and career opportunities in high demand industries, including Biotechnology and Life Sciences.

Participants Must...

• Have established work experience
• Have reliable transportation
• Have a high school diploma or GED or enrolled in adult education classes
• Be available to attend evening workshops/classes, presentations, and willing to work in small groups
• Be computer literate or currently enrolled in qualified computer training
• Have computer, email and printer access

Training is FREE to selected program participants!

Training will include:

• Workplace Basic Skills
• Basic Computers: Windows, Internet, Email, MS Word I, MS Excel
• Intensive Job Prep Workshops
• Biotech Awareness I & II
