The Program
The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) at Ohlone
College offers a range of access and support services to low-income
and educationally disadvantaged students. The goal of EOPS is to
provide access to educational opportunities by assisting students
in their pursuit of their educational and vocational pursuits.
EOPS Services
Academic Advising
Students receive assistance with admissions, registration, financial
aid, and the development of their educational plans.
College Campus Tours
Students receive the opportunity to attend EOPS Campus Tours to
local Colleges and Universities.
Financial Assistance
Assistance is available for books and educational supplies.
Outreach Services
Recruitment services are available to high school and community
agencies.
Early Registration
Students may register early each semester.
Transfer Services
Assistance with the transfer process is one of the highlights of
our Program. Applications, fee waivers and other materials are available
at our office.
Workshops
Informational sessions on various topics are offered throughout
the academic year.
CARE Services
Single parents who are on TANF with children under the age of 14
years are eligible for additional services. These services include
workshops, support groups, childcare/transportation grants, and
car repair assistance. See the CARE
