EOPS Program and Services - Extended Opportunity Programs and Services
The Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) at Ohlone
College offers a range of access and support services to low-income
and educationally disadvantaged students. The goal of EOPS is to
provide access to educational opportunities by assisting students
in their pursuit of their educational and vocational pursuits.
Students receive assistance with admissions, registration, financial aid, and the development of their educational plans.
College Campus Tours
Students receive the opportunity to attend EOPS Campus Tours to local Colleges and Universities.
Assistance is available for books and educational supplies.
Recruitment services are available to high school and community agencies.
Students may register early each semester.
Assistance with the transfer process is one of the highlights of our Program. Applications, fee waivers and other materials are available at our office.
Informational sessions on various topics are offered throughout the academic year.
Single parents who are on TANF with children under the age of 14 years are eligible for additional services. These services include workshops, support groups, childcare/transportation grants, and car repair assistance. See the CARE website for more information.
