Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program - 2007 Tax Return Preparation

The Tri-Cities One Stop Career Center in Newark is not participating in the VITA program this year.

However, free income tax preparation through VITA assistance with your tax returns is available:

When:

• Mondays & Wednesdays through April 14
• 4:00pm - 8:00-pm.

What to Bring:

• Picture ID and Social Security cards or copies of Social Security cards for all family members
• All forms for income earned, such as W2s and 1099s
• Information for all other income including 1098-Ts
• Information for all deductions and credits including
• Childcare provider information (SSN or EIN and address)
• Name, address, and phone number of landlord if applicable
• A copy of last year’s tax return if you have it
• Married couples filing jointly must come together
• Routing and account numbers for savings and/or checking accounts for a faster refund by direct deposit
