Free Income Tax Preparation - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program - 2008 Tax Return Preparation
Free income tax preparation through VITA assistance with your tax returns is available. Sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service, the VITA program is available to qualifying individuals and families who earned less than $46,000 in 2008.

What to Bring
- Married couples filing jointly must come together
- Driver license or other official picture ID
- Social Security card or letter or individual taxpayer's identification number card or letter, for each person on the tax return
- All forms for all 2008 jobs and income earned, including W-2 and 1099 forms
- Information for all other 2008 income (interest, savings, IRAs, etc.)
- Information for all 2008 deductions and credits including
- Childcare provider information (SSN or EIN and address)
- Name, address, and phone number of landlord, if applicable
- A copy of last year’s tax return is helpful
- Rent information (name, address, phone number of landlord) if applicable
- For Direct Deposit of tax refund, please bring routing and account numbers for savings and/or checking accounts for a split refund service (and a faster refund!)
