To be eligible to participate in the program, you must file a FAFSA, have a completed financial aid file, be a U.S. Citizen or a permanent resident, be enrolled in at least six (6) units, and maintain good academic standing while employed under the program and interview with the Work-Study Coordinator. Students can work up to 20 hours per week/$10.50 per hour.
You must also comply with the Ohlone College Human Resources Office hiring procedures and requirements before you will be allowed to begin work. The Financial Aid Office, as well as your supervisor, must have written approval from the Human Resources Office before you may begin working.
- Admissions & Records: (2 positions) Work hours between 8:30am and 5:00pm Fremont and Newark campuses
- Financial Aid: (5 positions) Work hours between 8:30am and 5:00pm Fremont campus
- Tri-City One Stop (1 position): Work hours between 8:30 and 5:00 p.m. at Newark Campus
- English & Math Tutors at Fremont Elementary School: Must complete finger printing and background check. (3 positions)
