  • HOSTS Ohlone scholarship program - February 3, 2010, Tri-City Voice - Every semester the Ohlone College Foundation provides thousands of dollars in scholarships for deserving Ohlone College students. Even though we awarded $19,650 in scholarships this fall, we had scores of worthy students that we could not assist.
  • Foundation scholarship recipients - January 20, 2010, Tri-City Voice - Ohlone College Foundation congratulates the recipients of the fall 2009 Scholarships. The Foundation awarded 39 scholarships totaling $19,650 to deserving Ohlone College students.

2009

  • Ohlone College and Fremont Bank tee-off for golf tournament benefit - September 16, 2009, Tri-City Voice - Get your golf clubs ready to swing into action, as the picturesque setting of Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton is the venue for Fremont Bank and Ohlone College Golf Tournament. Now in its 25th year, this annual fundraising event, on September 21, benefits the college's Athletic Programs, Student Athletic Scholarship Fund and Athletic Endowment Fund.
  • Cho to be honored as Citizen of Year - May 27, 2009, Tri-City Voice - Steve Cho is a man of many hats. He has served the Fremont community in almost every capacity imaginable from Planning Commissioner to Vice Mayor for the City of Fremont; from homeowners' associations to the League of California Cities, and community organizations supporting children, education, arts, community service, business and Chinese Americans. These are just a few of the reasons this esteemed man has been named Ohlone College Foundation's Citizen of the Year for 2009.
  • Dave Smith goes to Washington - February 5, 2009, Ohlone College Monitor - With 2009 being the inaugural year for sweeping new changes in our government and our economy, Newark Mayor Dave Smith seeks to grab a piece of that tasty change pie.
