It is this community involvement that propelled Steve into becoming a Fremont City Councilmember where he served from 2000 to 2008.
Steve established himself as one of the hardest working and most visible councilmembers of Fremont. Steve served on the League of California Cities (LCC) Board of Directors and was the President of the LCC API Caucus. He is called the “ubiquitous” Cho because he is seen everywhere.
Currently, Steve is serving on the boards of CBC, Fremont Symphony Orchestra, Friends of Children with Special Needs, and the Quail Run HOA. He is active in the Niles Rotary and will also become the East Bay District Coordinator for the Boy Scouts of America in June, 2009.
