Historic Newark Groundbreaking Events set for May 24, 2005!

FREMONT, CA – Ohlone Community College District is pleased to announce a Groundbreaking ceremony and gala for the Ohlone College Newark Center for Health Sciences and Technology to be held on May 24, 2005. The new campus will be the first Green Building campus among the 109 California Community Colleges. Ohlone College and the Ohlone College Foundation cordially invite you to participate in the momentous Groundbreaking Ceremony at the Newark Campus site on 39375 Cherry Street, Newark, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The ceremony will be followed immediately by a Celebration Gala at the Hilton, Newark/Fremont located at 39900 Balentine Drive, Newark at 5:00 PM with a social hour and 6:00 PM with dinner and a spectacular showcase of multi-cultural dancers. The Groundbreaking Event of the Newark Center will also mark the beginning of a district wide capital campaign to raise funds to furnish the Center with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
