Freshman Days 2016: Ohlone College Orientation

Save the Date! May 13 & 14!

Early Registration Process for High School Seniors.

High school seniors can register early for Fall 2016 by attending Freshman Days. Follow these steps to participate in this free event and register for classes earlier than other new students.

Freshman Days takes place at our Newark Center campus.

Registration for Freshman Days will begin in April 2016.

Workshops are approximately three hours, and are offered at the following times:

  • Friday, May 13 @ 3:30pm
  • Saturday, May 14 @ 9:00am
  • Saturday, May 14 @ 1:30pm

*Check-in will be held in the first floor lobby at the Newark Center

Note to Parents: There will be a Parent Orientation held during each Freshman Days session. Please join us and show your support for your students! Students who complete the orientation process are better prepared for college.

Step 1: Apply to Ohlone College

Apply online. Receive your Ohlone Student ID Number via email.

Local High School Students: Ohlone will offer an application workshop at your high school in Spring 2015.

Step 2: Take English & Math Placement Tests

Local High School Students: Ohlone will offer a placement test at your high school in Spring 2015.

Bring your Ohlone Student ID Number* and a photo ID on the day of the test. Placement tests are free.

* Get Ohlone Student ID Number after completing application.

Step 3: Attend Freshmen Days

Sign-up for Freshman Days. Space is limited. Register to attend only one session! You must sign-up to attend Freshman Days.

Students must have completed their placement tests to participate in Freshman Days.

Freshman Days students will:

  • Complete orientation
  • Meet with a counselor
  • Register for classes
  • Meet other incoming students
