Register early for Fall 2016 at Freshman Days.

Freshman Days 2016 takes place at the Ohlone College Newark Center. Registration is open now! Workshops are approximately three hours. Check-in is held in the first floor lobby.

Puente Students: Attend Freshman Days Friday, May 13 at 3:30pm or Saturday, May 14 at 9:00am and join us at the Puente Orientation workshop.

To participate in this free event, follow these steps:

Step 1: Apply to Ohlone College

Apply online. Receive your Ohlone Student ID Number via email.

Local High School Students: Ohlone will offer an application workshop at your high school in Spring 2016.

Step 2: Take English & Math Placement Tests

Local High School Students: Ohlone will offer a placement test at your high school in Spring 2016. Use study guides to prepare.

Bring your Ohlone Student ID Number* and a photo ID on the day of the test. Placement tests are free.

* Get Ohlone Student ID Number after completing application.

Step 3: Attend Freshmen Days

Space is limited. Register to attend only one session! You must sign-up in advance to participate in Freshman Days. Sign up’s are currently full. A waitlist will be available at the door.

Students must have completed their placement tests to attend Freshman Days.

Freshman Days students will:

  • Complete orientation
  • Meet with a counselor
  • Register for classes
  • Meet other incoming students

Note to Parents: There will be a Parent Orientation held during each Freshman Days session. Please join us and show your support for your students! Students who complete the orientation process are better prepared for college.
