Forty-Second Annual Graduation Ceremony

Information for Graduates

Graduates may purchase their cap, gown, and tassel in the Ohlone College Bookstore on the Fremont campus (Building 5, first floor) starting Monday, May 4, 2009. The cap, gown, and tassel cost $34.95 plus tax. Please refer to the Bookstore website for the Bookstore's hours.
Graduates need to meet by 6:15pm in the lower level of the Gym, east end.
Tickets are not required.
Guests should plan to arrive by 6:00pm to get a good seat, as seats will start to fill up quickly after 6:00pm . Guests who arrive once the processional starts may have to go to the overflow room to watch the ceremony on television monitors, wait outside the Gym, or stand for the entire ceremony. Tell your guests to arrive early so they don't miss your graduation ceremony! More information for guests.
Graduates should leave personal belongings (purses, coats, suit jackets, etc.) with family and friends, since there is nowhere to store personal belongings during the ceremony.
Cell phones and pagers must be turned off (or silenced) during the ceremony—or, better yet, left outside of the Gym.
The ceremony will end around 8:30pm.
ASOC is sponsoring a Graduation Reception in the Palm Bosque after the ceremony. Please invite your guests to attend the reception with you.
Parking is free for the graduation ceremony.
Smoking is not allowed on the Ohlone campus, except in general use parking lots.
