Academic Regalia for Faculty, Administrators, and Board Members
Q. Where do I pick up my rental gown, cap, and hood?
A. Faculty may pick up their academic regalia after the faculty dinner at the bench outside of the 3rd floor of Building 1, directly across from the bookstore. The Bookstore staff will assist faculty and Board members with their academic regalia.
Q. Can I wear my own gown, cap, and hood if I have them?
A. Yes
Q. Is there anything special I should wear for the ceremony?
A. Yes. The Bookstore recommends that those participating in the ceremony wear either a shirt or blouse/dress with buttons. A golf/polo type shirt is acceptable. Since the hood has a loop that is supposed to attach to a dress shirt, a shirt or blouse/dress with several buttons above the chest will allow for the hood to be attached securely.
Q. When and where do I return my academic regalia?
A. The rented academic regalia should be returned to the bench outside of the 3rd floor of Building 1, directly across from the bookstore, right after the graduation ceremony.
