No Smoking at Ohlone College - Student Health Center
Smoking is the #1 preventable cause of death in the United States and secondhand smoke is as harmful as actually smoking.
Ohlone College Campus Smoking Policy
Ohlone College became a Smoke-Free College effective June 1, 2004.
Ohlone College is a designated Smoke-Free College. Smoking is prohibited in all College vehicles, buildings, indoor and outdoor facilities, handicapped parking and all open areas except for general use parking lots at the Fremont campus only.
The Newark Center for Health Sciences and Technology is a completely Smoke-Free Campus, including all parking lots.
Violators shall be subject to appropriate disciplinary action that may include participating in smoking cessation Internet presentation and counseling by the Student Health Center.
Questions regarding this policy shall be directed to the Safety Committee or Campus Security at (510) 659-6111.

No Smoking Beyond This Point lines (red boxes with white lettering) have been painted on the ground around the campus as a reminder that no smoking is permitted on campus, except in general use parking lots.
