Summary

Ohlone College benefit eligible employees and their dependents have access to a full range of emotional health services provided by CONCERN EAP.

Short-Term Confidential Counseling

Short-term counseling can be an effective way to deal with some of life’s most difficult situations: marital and family problems, emotional distress, job stress, alcohol or drug abuse, grief or loss.  CONCERN EAP provides Up to 8 visits per family member per problem per year for confidential counseling with a licensed marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker or psychologist.  Up to 10 visits for issues with alcohol or substance abuse.

Legal & Financial Consultations

Free 30-minute consultation with practicing attorney in any state.  25% discount off standard fees. 

Parenting & Childcare Resources

Ohlone’s EAP program can help you find qualified resources for a wide variety of childcare and parenting needs: before and after school care, in-home care, adoption assistance, and much more.  Free new baby kit for expecting parents.

Eldercare Resources

Let CONCERN EAP assist you with referrals and customized consultations available for community resources to assist you with helping an elderly loved one.  Other services include: help finding living facilities, transportation, federal and state assistance, and much more!
