Positions
- Adjunct Mental Health Clinical Faculty
- Adjunct Medical-Surgical Clinical Faculty -
Direct and provide clinical instruction in a variety of mental health or medical-surgical settings, demonstrating knowledge and clinical competency in direct patient care. Able to integrate clinical knowledge required by a curriculum that is highly responsive to rapidly changing and demanding job market requirements. - Adjunct Medical-Surgical Theory Faculty -
Direct and provide classroom instruction, demonstrating knowledge and competence in medical surgical nursing. Able to integrate theoretical knowledge required by a curriculum that is highly responsive to rapidly changing and demanding job market requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Theory faculty: Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited United States college or university, which includes course work in nursing, education or administration AND completion of one (1) year’s experience teaching course related to registered nursing OR completion of a post baccalaureate course which included Practice in Teaching registered nursing. An official course description must be attached. Also must have direct patient care experience within the last 5 years in medical-surgical or mental health nursing.
Clinical faculty: Master’s degree (preferred) or baccalaureate degree from an accredited United State college or university with direct patient care experience within the last five (5) years in medical-surgical or mental health nursing.
