Part-Time Faculty Position for Spring Semester, 2008
Hourly Lecture Rate: $53.17 – $69.71 &
Hourly Lab Rate: $46.36 - $60.81 DOEE

Position

Instructor will be responsible for lecture and laboratory instruction in a two semester sequence Anatomy and Physiology course. Teaching assignments may include evening, day or summer classes.

Desired Qualifications

Experience in teaching anatomy and/or physiology, including zoology, animal physiology, organismal biology or kinesiology. Experience teaching in community college; experience with animal and/or cadaver dissection.

Minimum Qualifications - Required

  1. Master’s in any biological science OR Bachelor’s degree in any biological science AND a Master’s in biochemistry, biophysics, marine science OR the equivalent. *
    *NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT MEET MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AS STATED, A COMPLETED EQUIVALENCY FORM WITH ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS MUST ACCOMPANY THE APPLICATION OR YOUR PACKET WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  2. Evidence of sensitive to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
