For assistance at the Ohlone College Newark Center, please place a Helpdesk request for the IT Department.

Q. How do I make a request to have equipment delivered to my classroom?

You may either fill out our Media Equipment Request Form or you may come to our office in person and fill out a form there. We are located in the North corner of the Circulation Desk in the Library (Building 1, third floor).

Q. How long before my class should I request equipment?

We require that you submit your request at least 48 hours in advance.

Q. Is it possible for me to bring my own laptop?

Yes, please call us at (510) 659-6280 if you plan to use your own laptop with one of our projectors so that we can make sure that it is compatible.

Q. What if I need a "Network Connection" (for example, to use the Internet) in my classroom?

Contact the Information Services Department at least 48 hours in advance at (510) 659-7333 or by filling out an Information Technology HelpDesk Request Form.
