Welcome to Ohlone College!
Ohlone College strives to be a student-centered model of excellence. Your success in college is our mission. This orientation has been developed to support you in your transition to college and to help you succeed at Ohlone. By the end of the orientation, you should have a better idea of the programs and services that are offered, as well as what courses you should be enrolling in for the upcoming semester.
The following is a list of steps for completing this orientation. You will not be allowed to register for classes until all steps are successfully completed, so please print this page to ensure you correctly follow each step:

Step 1: Read through the entire orientation. At the end of the orientation, there will be a counselor intake form for you to complete. It is therefore critical for you to read all of the orientation information carefully and completely.

Step 2: Fill out the “Intake Form.” Before you complete your educational plan, you will be asked some information regarding your educational goals, choice of major, hours of work, and other pertinent information. Please complete this as thoroughly as possible as a counselor will be using this information to evaluate your educational plan.

Step 3: Click “Submit.” Once your orientation forms have been electronically submitted to a counselor, please wait 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday) for a response. If the information is satisfactory, you will receive an email message that you are eligible to register for classes. If the counselor feels you need additional assistance, you may be asked to schedule a counseling appointment.
