How Do I Find My Way Around Campus?
Ohlone has two campuses: Fremont and Newark. Students can take classes at either campus.
Fremont Campus
The Fremont campus rooms are numbered with four digits, for example room 1406. The first digit will refer to the building number, while the second digit will tell the floor. Room 1406 is in building 1 on the fourth floor.
Other common room designations on the Fremont campus are the following:
- HH = Hyman Hall (For example HH-204; this room is in Hyman Hall on the second floor.)
- SC = Smith Center
- WEB = Distance learning class
- GYM = Gym, which is located in Building 9
For other room locations, look on the inside back cover of the printed Class Schedule or at the online Fremont Campus Map.
Newark Campus
The campus of the Newark Center for Health Sciences and Technology is smaller than the Fremont campus and is one building with four wings. In the Class Schedule, a class with a room location of “NC” is located at Newark. Newark campus rooms are numbered with four digits, for example: Room NC-2310. The first digit designates the Floor Number, second digit designates the Wing Number, and the third and fourth digits designate the room. Example: Room NC-2310 is on the Second Floor, Wing 3, Room 10. If you get lost, there are people in the main office as well as security guards who can help you find your way. Newark Campus Map.
