Next Steps - Online Orientation
After you have completed the orientation by submitting the intake form and received an email message from the counselor that you are eligible to register, you should sign-up for classes.
The primary ways to do this is through WebAdvisor. In order to use WebAdvisor, you will first need to sign up for WebAdvisor account. To do this, complete the following steps:- Step 1: Go to the Ohlone College home page and click on WebAdvisor
- Step 2: Click on Sign up for WebAdvisor access (It's FREE!)
- Step 3: Under Step 2 on the displayed web page, click on "I need an Ohlone College web services account"
- Step 4: Complete all the required fields to create your own password and reminder. Hit submit to have “User ID” for Web Services Account emailed to your email on record with Ohlone College.
- Step 5: Log in using “User ID” (first initial last name and a number) and the password you just created
- Step 6: Select “Students” (Blue bar on the right)
- Step 7: Under “Registration” select update my profile, verify information and check box that says “My profile is correct and current.” Then click submit. You will be redirected to student’s menu.
- Step 8: Scroll down to registration and select “Register for Sections”
- Step 9: Scroll down and select “Search and register for sections”
- Step 10: Choose the appropriate term, subject, and if known course number (Ignore “Course Level”) and clink submit
- Step 11: Use small boxes to select potential sections that meet at times you are able to attend. Once you have chosen sections you will hit submit again. This will pull courses onto the “Register and Drop Sections” page. You will need to complete an action on this page top register in classes.
