Students who wish to transfer to an out-of-state or private 4-year college (such as Stanford or Santa Clara University) need to contact the specific college as soon as possible to learn about admissions requirements.

However, it is advisable to make contact with the individual institution. Once you have information from the college you are interested in, contact a counselor and they can assist you in planning the specific courses you must take to transfer.
