Ohlone College Fremont Campus buildings. New Student Orientation Options
There are three (3) options available for students to complete the New Student Orientation requirement:
- Online: Students must complete an Online Orientation tutorial. Upon competition of the online tutorial students will be prompted to email an Ohlone College counselor to complete their enrollment for the upcoming semester. In some cases a student may need to schedule an appointment with an Ohlone College counselor.
- In Person: Students must attend a three (3) hour New Student Orientation at the end of which they will enroll in courses for the upcoming semester. Schedule of In Person Orientations.
- ESL students: Please review ESL Orientation and Placement information.
Students will need to reserve a seat in the in-person orientation by using our web-based scheduling system or at the Counseling Window (Building 1, first floor, Fremont campus). Students will be able to sign up 2 weeks prior to the date of the orientation they choose.
Note: Students who do not attend orientation before the start of classes will be required to enroll in a Personal Development (PD) course to satisfy the New Student Orientation requirement.
