Placement Tests Schedules

Please READ the following information BEFORE selecting a testing date! Contact the Placement Center at (510) 659-6126 if you have questions.

Test Location

Tests at the Fremont campus meet at the Placement Center, Room 1405A (Building 1, fourth floor), UNLESS specified otherwise. (Fremont Campus Map.)

English & Math Placement Tests: Fall 2008

Students may arrive at the Placement Center to start the test anytime during the open hours. Testing is done on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited to 30 students.

Students must bring a photo ID (driver’s license, valid current passport, etc.) and know their Ohlone College student ID number.

  • August 1-30
    • Mondays: 9-10 am and 1:30-3:30 pm
    • Wednesday, August 27: 3-6 pm
    • Thursdays: 9-10 am and 1:30-3:30 pm
  • September 1-11
    • Monday: 9-10 am and 1:30-3:30 pm
    • Wednesday, September 3: 9-10 and 1:30-3:30 pm
    • Wednesday, September 10: 3-6 pm
    • Thursday: 9-10 am and 1:30-3:30 pm
    • Note: The Placement Center will be closed on September 1st, Monday.

RN, PTA and RT Applicant Testing

For RN, RT and PTA applicants, the following test date is available. Applicants may arrive at the Placement Center to start the test anytime during the open hours. Testing is done on a first come, first served basis. Applicants must bring a photo ID (driver’s license, valid current passport, etc.) and know their Ohlone College student ID number.

The Reading test will be offered. The math test will also be offered for those applicants who need it on the same day. No reservations or individual appointments are made. No late applicants will be admitted.

  • September 16, Tuesday: 3 to 6 pm in Room 1405A (Fremont campus, Building 1, fourth floor) (Fremont Campus Map)

Applicants can also take the whole English test (which includes the Reading test) for the RN, RT and PTA programs. Refer to the English and Math Fall 2008 semester test dates listed above. September 16th is the last opportunity for RN, RT and PTA applicants. No more test dates will be added for this application round.
