MAJOR POINTS:
Newark Center
The City Council of the City of Newark has voted to withdraw from the Joint Library Project. This means that the College will proceed with the original plans to build a smaller Learning Resource Center on the Newark campus.
Master Planning Calendar
The Calendar gives dates, times, locations, and topics of all Master Planning meetings for College Facilities between now and the end of the semester. If you would like more information about attending one of these meetings, please contact the President's Office.
College Council
College Council is now being held on a regular basis through the end of the semester. If you have an interest in one of the topics, please contact the President's Office for more information.
President's Forum
During the week of November 3rd, the President held two College Forums. The topics present by the president were the same in each meeting and will be posted on the President's page next week.
College Council
The College Council has been formed and has conducted two meetings. The first was an organizational meeting to establish procedures for creating agendas and conducting meetings. The second meeting dealt with the first topics of the year, including a proposal for moving towards a smoke-free campus, a discussion of the various committees and task forces at the college, and discussion about the withdrawal by the City of Newark from the Joint Library Project on the Newark campus.
