In the preface to his book "The Courage to Teach: Exploring the Inner Landscape of a Teacher's Life", Parker Palmer writes that "This book is for teachers who have good days and bad. … It is for teachers who refuse to harden their hearts, because they love learners, learning, and the teaching life." In this seminar we will explore some of the ideas he presents in his book. -

Reducing Back Pain, facilitated by Kaylene Buteau -
Come learn how to reduce your back pain with proper body mechanics, setting up your workstation, exercises, and stretches. This class will be a hands-on practical workshop where you will be doing simple core strengthening and stretching exercises. You will the do's and don'ts for your back and how to straighten up for the rest of your life. Please wear comfortable stretchy clothes and be prepared for a little movement.
