The Ohlone Community College District thanks the voters of Fremont and Newark for their support in passing Measure G, a $349 million bond to modernize the Fremont campus and expand the Newark Center. Design, consultant, and construction opportunities will be posted first on this website, as they become available.

Important Notice

The Ohlone Community College District has elected to participate in the Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (UPCCA)  and will be soliciting informal bids for projects between $45,000 and $175,000.  A list of Qualified Contractors will be established each January for use in notifying qualified contractors of informal bid opportunities for that calendar year. For information on how to be included on the list of Qualified Contractors, review the Notice to Contractors (PDF).

Informal Bids will be solicited by trade type and will have a shorter turnaround time; and, they will be awarded directly by the Purchasing and Contracts office.  Bonds and other statutory requirements will continue to be required.
