SEALED BIDS RECEIVED UNTIL 2:00 P.M. AUGUST 17, 2010. BIDS WILL BE OPENED IN ROOM 7101.

Estimated budget: $700,000-830,000.

There is no PREQUALIFICATION required on this project, however, bidder is required to meet minimum qualifications in the bid package, including, but not limited to, the following from the Supplementary General Conditions:

BIDDER IS REQUIRED TO HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AT LEAST THREE (3) PROJECTS OF SIMILAR SIZE AND NATURE TO THE PROJECT BEING BID, TWO (2) OF WHICH SHALL HAVE BEEN FOR A PUBLIC AGENCY IN CALIFORNIA REQUIRING DIVISION OF STATE ARCHITECT APPROVAL, WITHIN THE PAST FIVE (5) YEARS. This experience must have been under the same contractor's name and license number as that of the Bidder, unless approved by the District prior to the opening of the bids. Information on Bidder's experience shall be provided in the Bidder's Questionnaire form included in the Bid Documents

The project consists of site work, foundation(s), and utilities for modular buildings to be supplied by the District. Anticipated start of construction September 2010.

The Ohlone Community College District is considering a contract for the management and operation of the Ohlone College Bookstore to the firm, corporation, individual, or institution which proposes to operate the District's Bookstore(s) in accordance with the specifications of this Request for Proposals (RFP) and subsequent negotiated contract.
