Civic Center Rentals

On July 9, 2008, the Ohlone College Board of Trustees voted to raise rental fees for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. The new fee schedule is effective September 1, 2008. We have completed a study of comparable facilities and rental rates, and have found that our fees are well below the average. Our intent is to raise fees to the approximate average for comparable facilities. Review the new Fee Schedule for For-profit Organizations. Review the new Fee Schedule for Non-profit Organizations. Organizations eligible for the non-profit rental rates must submit official verification of their non-profit status.

While Ohlone College desires to make its facilities available for community use, the current budget situation in the state of California has affected the availability of facilities for rental. We will attempt to accommodate your request; however, those facilities actually available for rental are limited.

Reservations may be cancelled for instructional needs.

Payment for all rentals must be received in full by Ohlone College 15 days prior to an event, or the event will be cancelled.

The Ohlone Community College District requires the furnishing of a certificate of liability insurance from the applicant in the amount of $1,000,000.00. This requirement may be waived by the Vice President, Administrative Services or his/her designee.
