AlertU: Mobile Alert Emergency Notification System for Ohlone College

The Ohlone Community College District has adopted AlertU as one means of communicating with students, staff, and faculty during a campus emergency, such as a natural disaster or safety threat.
AlertU is a text based mass communication system that is of no cost to participants. AlertU is an "opt in" program and users can "opt out" at anytime.
With AlertU, school administrators can send text alerts to subscribers’ mobile devices and communicate critical information in real-time.
Sign Up is Simple
There are the three methods for "opting in":
- Text OHLONE to 253788 (AlertU) and reply Y
- Sign up online at www.alertu.org/ohlone
- Use the sign up form below:
Please note: AlertU will send a test message once each quarter asking whether the participant wants to continue or opt out.
