In May of 2007, a delegation of Ohlone College faculty and students visited Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art, and engaged in exchange experiences that deepened the group’s understanding of Chinese culture and performance art. At that same time Ohlone College formalized a Cooperation Agreement with Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art, which included an invitation for a return visit, to Ohlone College, by Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art staff and students.
In April 2008, a delegation of 36 Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art administrators and students will visit Ohlone College. The Zhejiang students will conduct 3 dance performance for the Ohlone and Fremont / Tri-Cities communities, at the Ohlone College Gary Soren Smith Center for the Fine and Performing Arts. They will also visit Ohlone performing arts classes, and engage in cultural exchange activities and conversations with Ohlone College students.
