The space is a traditional black box space with flexible seating risers for up to 220 audience members. It has overhead catwalks for lighting and sound work. The room has a electrically controlled window for natural light for classes or lectures, and large loading doors that access the shop. Further technical information about the booth follows.
NUMMI Control Room
The lighting is controlled by and ETC Expression board with 160 circuits in the space. The sound is controlled by a Yamaha board with 26 ins and 6 outs… There is a midi workstation located in the oversized booth for advanced student research. the access to the catwalks is through the booth, and the dimmers are located here also.
