Visits to University/College Campuses - Transfer Center
Visiting colleges and universities can be very helpful in exploring and deciding on potential transfer universities. Colleges and universities host preview days, open houses, and transfer information sessions, on their campus throughout the year, so, take advantage of these events.
Many transfer events held at the university campus may be found on the Transfer Events Calendar. The Transfer Center is also sponsoring a few campus visit excursions.

UC Santa Cruz Preview Day
- Saturday, October 15, 2011
- • 11:00am – 6:30pm
- Free transportation from Ohlone will be provided!
- 11:00am - Meet at Ohlone's Fremont campus for a ride (Lot H outside the Child Development Center building)
- 11:10am - Depart for UC Santa Cruz
- 12:30pm - Lunch at Dining Commons
- 3:00pm - Information Session
- 4:00pm - Campus Tour
- 6:30pm - Arrive back at Ohlone College

Stanford University
Join the Ohlone College Transfer Center for a visit to Stanford University. The day will include a transfer information session and campus tour.

- 9:50am - 5:00pm
- Free Transportation from Ohlone will be provided!
- 9:50am - Meet at Ohlone's Fremont campus for a ride (Lot H outside the Child Development Center building)
- 10:00am - Depart for Stanford University
- 11:15am - Information Session
- 12:30pm - Lunch on our own at Downtown Palo Alto
- 2:15pm - Stanford University Campus Tour
- 3:45pm - Depart for Ohlone College
Space is limited. To secure a seat on this trip, please complete the following:
- Complete the College Visitation Agreement (PDF).
- Complete the Field Trip Excursion Notice (PDF). The field trip/excursion is “Stanford University Visit”.
- Below your signature on the Field Trip Excursion Notice, print neatly your Ohlone Student ID Number, email address, and phone number where we can reach you. We will email you an updated itinerary as we near the event. We will call you if there are last minute changes or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Turn both completed forms to the Transfer Center located on the third floor of Building 7 on the Fremont campus. You may slide your forms under the door of Office/Room 7351. Check your email for confirmation that the forms were received and a seat was saved for you.
