Spring 2012 Campus Visits Archive

UC Santa Cruz

The Ohlone College Transfer Center is sponsoring a campus visit trip to the University of California, Santa Cruz campus! The day will include lunch on campus, transfer information session, and campus tour!

  • Friday, May 4, 2012
  • 10:00am - 6:30pm
  • Free transportation from Ohlone will be provided!
    • 10:00am – Meet at Ohlone's Fremont campus for a ride (meeting place to be determined)
    • 10:30am – Depart for UC Santa Cruz
    • 12:00pm – Lunch at College Eight dining common (Cost: $8.58)
    • 2:00pm – Transfer Information Session
    • 2:30pm – Student Panel
    • 3:00pm – UC Santa Cruz Campus Tour
    • 5:00pm – Depart for Ohlone College

Mascot: UC Santa Cruz Banana Slug. Space is limited. To secure a seat on this trip, please follow these steps carefully and thoroughly:

  1. Complete the College Visitation Agreement (PDF).

  2. Complete the Field Trip Excursion Notice (PDF).

    1. On this form, you should write “UC Santa Cruz Visit” for the name of the field trip/excursion.

    2. Below your signature on the Field Trip Excursion Notice, print neatly your:

      1. Ohlone Student ID Number,
      2. email address, and
      3. phone number where we can reach you.

      We will email you an updated itinerary as we near the event. We will call you if there are last minute change or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

  3. Prepare $8.58 (cash only) to prepay for your lunch. Please, no bills larger than $10.

  4. Turn both completed forms with payment to the Transfer Center located on the third floor of Building 7 on the Fremont campus, Room 7351.

  5. The last day to turn in forms and payment is Friday, April 13, 2012 or until all seats are taken, whichever occurs first.

Fall 2011 Campus Visits Archive

Stanford University

Join the Ohlone College Transfer Center for a visit to Stanford University. The day will include a transfer information session and campus tour.

  • Friday, December 2, 2011
  • 9:50am - 5:00pm
  • Free Transportation from Ohlone will be provided!
    • 9:50am - Meet at Ohlone's Fremont campus for a ride (Lot H outside the Child Development Center building)
    • 10:00am - Depart for Stanford University
    • 11:15am - Information Session
    • 12:30pm - Lunch on our own at Downtown Palo Alto
    • 2:15pm - Stanford University Campus Tour
    • 3:45pm - Depart for Ohlone College

Space is limited. To secure a seat on this trip, please complete the following:

  1. Complete the College Visitation Agreement (PDF).
  2. Complete the Field Trip Excursion Notice (PDF). The field trip/excursion is “Stanford University Visit”.
  3. Below your signature on the Field Trip Excursion Notice, print neatly your Ohlone Student ID Number, email address, and phone number where we can reach you. We will email you an updated itinerary as we near the event. We will call you if there are last minute changes or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.
  4. Turn both completed forms to the Transfer Center located on the third floor of Building 7 on the Fremont campus. You may slide your forms under the door of Office/Room 7351. Check your email for confirmation that the forms were received and a seat was saved for you.

San Francisco State University Transfer Day

  • Wednesday, November 10, 2010
  • 10:00am: Depart Ohlone College
  • 12:00pm - 5:00pm: SFSU Transfer Day Program
  • 6:30pm: Arrival back to Ohlone College
  • Free transportation from Ohlone will be provided

  • Join faculty and fellow transfer students and BART to the UCB campus!

University of San Francisco Campus Tour

  • Friday, March 19, 2010
  • 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Free transportation from Ohlone will be provided!

Mascot: USF Dons.The day will include a campus tour, residential hall tour, information session, and lunch at the USF dining hall.
