University Rep Visits to Ohlone College - Transfer Center

Did You Know…?

Ohlone College students who transfer to California State Universities maintain a grade point average at the CSU that is higher than the statewide average for transfer students. Visit the Transfer Center for transfer information.

University representatives are available to help you explore and strategize your transfer! See below for opportunities to meet with a representative at the Transfer Center. At any time, you can also contact University Reps directly. Take advantage of the resource and expertise they offer!

Dates, times, and locations are subject to change. Please check this web page frequently. Unless otherwise noted, transfer workshops are held at the Fremont campus.

These events are open to only Ohlone College students.

University Reps Interested in Visiting Ohlone College:

We welcome baccalaureate degree granting institutions on campus who are regionally accredited, but also give consideration to a combination of regional accreditation and programmatic accreditation and/or special program distinctions. If your institution holds a programmatic accreditation, or have other distinctions of which we are unaware, please let us know so we can take this under review. 

While we want to expose our students to as many viable transfer options as possible, please keep in mind that providing us with this information does not automatically guarantee a visit to our campus. To schedule a visit, please contact Frances Fon at (510) 659-6241 or ffon@ohlone.edu.

A few private and out-of-state colleges will be tabling, so check them out and explore your transfer options! Attend the Transferring to Private Colleges workshop to better understand how private colleges work and prepare your questions for when you visit their table(s)!

San Francisco State University

Colette Cowan, San Francisco State University Admissions Counselor, will be available by phone for transfer planning and advising. To schedule a phone appointment with the SFSU Admissions Counselor, please contact or visit the Transfer Center and provide the following:

  • Ohlone Student ID Number
  • Phone number for the appointment
  • Unofficial Ohlone transcripts from WebAdvisor
  • Current class schedule from WebAdvisor
  • Print out of grades from any other colleges attended.
