Web Task Force (WTF) - Agenda

Meeting: Tuesday, May 21, 2002, 2-4pm

Topics of Discussion

  • feedback, corrections, additions re portal/gateway pages, A to Z index pages, Divisions and Departments page etc. (these pages were provided for WTF review starting Friday 5/17/2002)
  • discuss what the initial home page content should be and how to go about getting that content. Upcoming events and news are ideal but there are procedural questions, such as who would provide the information, where would it be stored, who would update it? Alternatively, a brief introduction to Ohlone College -- a marketing message, i.e., why is Ohlone a great college? what does it provide students, the community, the workforce? -- can be provided until a method of gathering and generating events/news is created. Who should write it?
  • review and choose appropriate images for page header (need 7, one for each day of the week)
  • discuss idea of requesting images (photographs, collages) created by students, including requirements and procedures for doing this
  • future meetings of the WTF
