Did You Know…?

  1. Ohlone has Webmail?

    You can access your Ohlone College email account from anywhere using a computer with an Internet connection and a web browser by logging in at http://mail.ohlone.edu/ [no longer valid]. Review the Ohlone Webmail tutorial at http://www.ohlone.edu/org/infotech/webmail/.

  2. Your Campus Directory information may be outdated if your job title, phone number, office location, etc. has changed?

    1. View your Employee Directory (aka Business Card) entry at http://cf.ohlone.edu/people/people.cfm. You can update your "business card" information by following the tutorial at http://www.ohlone.edu/org/infotech/campusdirectory.html.

    2. View your Phone List entry at http://staffdir.ohlone.edu/cgi-bin/PhoneList3.pl - LINK CHANGED May 2005 to http://www2.ohlone.edu/cgi-bin/phonelist.pl. If your Phone List entry needs correction, place a Helpdesk request with the IS Department at http://help.ohlone.edu/.

  3. Ohlone's new logo and tagline are available for use in print publications (brochures, flyers, etc.) and faculty/staff websites?

    1. Print-ready images are available on the Downloads page of the College Relations website at http://www.ohlone.edu/org/college_rel/downloads.html.
    2. Web-ready images are available in the Web Style Guide:

    If you maintain a website on the Ohlone College domain, please replace the old rectangular-block logo in the header and/or footer with one of the new files.

  4. Faculty at Ohlone College are encouraged to provide information for students on a website?

    There are several ways to create a faculty website, depending on the type of information you'll be providing on the website. Review the Options for Faculty Websites in the Web Center for details (http://www.ohlone.edu/org/webcenter/facultyoptions.html)!

  5. Ohlone's email and website address is "ohlone.edu"?

    The College switched to "ohlone.edu" from the longer and more difficult to remember "ohlone.cc.ca.us" in December 2002. If you're still using the old "ohlone.cc.ca.us" in your email signature, in your syllabi or other course documents, in brochures or other print materials, or on your faculty/staff website, please change those references to "ohlone.edu".
