Home Energy Retrofit Occupations (HERO) Program
Free job training and career pathways in home energy performance careers. The population HERO serves includes dislocated and unemployed workers, incumbent workers and returning veterans. Tthe HERO program aims to fulfill the need for training workforce in the home performance industry, improve both local and regional economic development, and sustain and grow current and future program activities with its project partners.

ASL Interpreter Workshops and Special Classes
For working interpreters as well as qualified Ohlone College students. (Acceptance in Ohlone's Interpreter Preparation Program is not required to take these classes.) Some are semester long courses, others are 9-18 hour courses which meet over a weekend or two. These courses are offered for college credit and students may also earn CEUs.
