Biography

I’ve been teaching a wide range of English classes at several community colleges In the bay area since 1997. Combining a love of classic literature with modern fiction (especially detective/CSI fiction) with attempting to teach students effective compositional responses to such literature has been my goal. I attempt to combine the deeper meanings of literature with lively classroom discussion to create an energizing and engaging classroom environment. In doing this, I feel I have “found my niche.”
