AB19: California College Promise Free Tuition and Book Grant Program

The California College Promise Free Tuition and Book Grant Program is available for first-time, full-time students for the first year of their academic program. The California College Promise Free Tuition and Book Grant Program covers the enrollment fees and mandatory fees for the fall and spring semesters for up to 30 units ($1440); and $250/semester for books.   • Late Start Classes are Visible on WebAdvisor Now!
    • Visit: https://webadvisor.ohlone.edu
    • Go to the far left side of the webpage, and click on the blue link “Search for Sections.”
    • In "Term" drop down menu select “2019 Fall Semester.”
    • Then in "Section Status" drop down menu select “Open Sections.”
    • Click the box that says "Late Start."
    • Then go to bottom of page and click on the “SUBMIT” blue button.

*Orientation is not required for first-time students for enrollment in Late Start Classes. However, If you plan to attend the following spring 2020 semester, you will need to complete the orientation requirement prior to enrolling for spring 2020. Some exemptions do apply. 

Please note: Admissions & Records Office hours do not extend to cover weekends. Access during non-offices times is available online through WebAdvisor.


10th-12th Grade Students

Students in grades 10-12 are allowed to take CSU/UC transferable courses. These courses are identified in WebAdvisor, the printed Class Schedule, and the Ohlone College Catalog. ​​​​Refer to the Kindergarten-12th Grade Enrollment Steps and carefully follow the directions in the 10th-12th Grade Application Packet to avoid delays in processing.

  • 10th-12th grade student permission packets are due on Monday, January 6, 2020 for the spring 2020 semester (no exceptions)
  • 10th-12th grade registration begins Monday, January 13, 2020 for the spring 2020 semester

Steps to Become an Ohlone Student

1. APPLY ONLINE

Visit ohlone.edu/admissions. Scroll down to "How to Enroll & Register."

2. APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid options are available to students who qualify.
 
3. CREATE WEBADVISOR ACCOUNT
WebAdvisor provides access to your student account, including activation of your student email, and other online tools.are available to students who qualify.
 
4. COMPLETE ORIENTATION & PLACEMENT
Orientation & Placement is required for all non-exempt new students.
 
5. SIGN UP FOR A COUNSELING & REGISTRATION (CAR) SESSION

After completing the Orientation module, all participating students are required to attend a CAR session where counselors will help you select classes and register.

6. PAY FOR CLASSES
Payment is due upon registration. Select a payment option. Payment plans and financial aid are available to students who qualify.
 
7. PREPARE FOR CLASSES
Purchase or rent books at the Ohlone College Bookstore.
