Fremont, Calif., September 17, 2020—Ohlone College’s Newark Center will be opening its doors every Tuesday for students to be able to utilize a new Student Study Center and to take advantage of limited in-person student services beginning September 22nd. This is in addition to the study center and student services made available on August 3rd on the Fremont Campus every Monday and Wednesday.

The College is extending these resources in order to help serve students in need of a safe, quiet, and socially-distanced study space with the support of campus WiFi.

Student services available include:

· Admissions and Records
· Financial Aid
· Cashier**Fremont Only
· General Student Information
· Career Center Services

Here’s what’s available when and where:

Mondays—Fremont Campus 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Student Study Center
Limited in-person student services

Tuesdays—Newark Campus 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Student Study Center
Limited in-person student services

Wednesdays—Fremont Campus 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Student Study Center
Limited in-person student services

The majority of student services and resources are available LIVE and online through the College website. Limited in-person student services have been made available because some forms or documents need to be physically turned in and students may need to speak with someone face-to-face to gain further clarity regarding their individual educational concerns or questions. In order to protect the health of students and campus community, all individuals working or visiting Ohlone Community College are required to wear a face mask and will be subject to a health screening upon entry. The College enforces social distancing guidelines of six-feet or more.
