Ohlone College Campus Police Services is in the process of transitioning to a new parking permit processing company. Campus Police is committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our students. To that end, Campus Police has extended the grace period through September 15. This means parking permits will not be required for general parking spaces until Monday, September 16, 2019. Please note, staff parking and specialty/reserved spaces are always enforced. More information is below that will answer some common questions.

What if I bought my Fall 2019 parking permit from the old company at paymycite.com?
The new company, Credential Solutions, will honor the purchases made with the old company. You do not need to purchase the permit again. UPDATE – permits are being mailed 09/06/19. Please allow mailing time as they are being mailed from out of state. If you do not receive your parking permit in the mail by Thursday, September 12, please contact Campus Police so they can assist you. Campus Police is available by phone at (510) 659-6111 or by email at CampusSecurity@Ohlone.edu.

I tried to buy my permit through WebAdvisor but I keep getting a server error. What should I do?
Please try a different browser. Chrome, Firefox, and Safari have been having this problem most commonly. Internet Explorer seems to work best. If, after trying Internet Explorer, you are still unable to purchase, you may call or come by Campus Police in Building 20 and we will be happy to process the purchase for you.

How do I order a parking permit with the new company if I haven’t ordered one already?
Please go to your student WebAdvisor account and login. Under the Academic Profile page, you will see a link for “Order Parking Permit.” Click that link and you will be directed to the Credential Solutions website to make your purchase. If you are trying to purchase a fuel-efficient permit, you will not be able to order online. Fuel efficient permits must be purchased in person at Campus Police (Building 20 on the Fremont Campus). Please bring a copy of your vehicle registration with you and we will be happy to assist you.

What if I’m on the California Promise Grant (previously known as BOG Waiver)?
You may purchase your permit through your student WebAdvisor account just as indicated above. The price should automatically reduce to $20. If you encounter any problems with the website not automatically lowering the price to a charge of $20, please contact Campus Police so we can address the issue. You must be on the California Promise Grant with all your financial aid documents processed to qualify for the lowered rate.

How can I buy a fuel-efficient parking permit?
If you are trying to purchase a fuel-efficient permit, you will not be able to order online. Fuel efficient permits must be purchased in person at Campus Police (Building 20 on the Fremont Campus). Please bring a copy of your vehicle registration with you and we will be happy to assist you.

I bought my Fall 2019 parking permit from the old company a long time ago. Why haven’t I received it yet?
The mailing process was delayed because of the transition to the new company. The permits you purchased should be mailed to you next week. As noted above, if you do not receive your parking permit by Thursday, September 12, please contact Campus Police. Campus Police is available by phone at (510) 659-6111 or by email at CampusSecurity@ohlone.edu.
