Fremont, Calif., June 24, 2021—Ohlone College's award-winning Theatre and Dance Department is holding auditions for Animal Farm by George Orwell, adapted for the stage by Ian Wooldridge.
Auditions will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Smith Center on Ohlone College’s Fremont Campus. Actors should prepare a 90-second monologue or read from the script (email for an audition side). All roles are available. For an audition time, please email email@example.com. Drop-ins are also welcome.
Callbacks will be held on Saturday, September 4th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Actors will be given specific slots and will not be called for the entire time.
Rehearsals will begin on September 7th, and will mostly be held Monday through Thursday from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. until technical rehearsals. Thereafter, rehearsal schedules will be extended to include Fridays and Saturdays. Performances will be Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 p.m. starting November 12th through November 20th, with a matinee performance on November 16th.
