Individuals with strong laboratory skills are in demand to help in the production of pharmaceuticals, biofuels, agricultural products, medical devices, diagnostics, and more. Ohlone College provides you with hands-on training in a state of the art biotechnology laboratory. You will have the opportunity to use modern instruments and practice techniques that will help you get a good job at a local biotechnology company. 

HIGHLIGHTED PROGRAM: Ohlone’s Biotechnology program trains students in Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Laboratory Practices, Mammalian Cell Culture, HPLC, DNA sequencing, Recombinant DNA techniques, PCR, Bioreactor, Clean Room Techniques, and more. This program assumes no science background, and has no prerequisites. Find out more.
